About Me

Let's Get Acquainted

Hello Sacramento and welcome to my website!  Let me begin by saying thank you for taking the time to visit and have a look around.  This is a safe space and non-judgmental zone and no question is stupid.

I became a sex blogger with the intent of providing access to comprehensive sex education along with some anecdotes, resources, information, and a space where we can all get together and discuss what no one wants to talk about; SEX!  It is still such a taboo subject with even more taboo sub-subjects.  I want to help break down the barriers, stigma, and discomfort and try to normalize the conversations we should all be having.

There may be a concern of, “Well, what qualifications do you have to tell the world about sex?”  Let me list them!

  • I am a Certified Clinical Sexologist with the American Board of Sexology.
  • I am a certified PrEP Navigator and completed the CA Department of Public Health's Sexual Health Educator Training Program.
  • I have a B.A. in Psychology.
  • I have sex.
  • I was the Slut of the Month (June 2017, Slutist).
  • I've been featured on a few podcasts (This is Uncomfortable Podcast, RAD Prodcast, & Hookup Horror Stories)
  • I understand there are numerous walks of life and sometimes our sex lives cross over into that.  I will be as sensitive as and clear as possible about what I write.
  • Sexual health and well being are a HUGE passion of mine.  My ultimate goal is to become an author and educator on the matter to anyone who may need help.

Welcome to Sac in the Sheets!

DISCLAIMER

*Topic presentation blogs (STIs, contraception, anatomy, etc) are written from a scientific, data and research backed standpoint.  There will also be blogs based SOLELY on opinion and experience as a cis/het female and as such, those should not be considered as advice, recommendations, or any other form of professional consultation.

*There will be explicit language and content in certain posts.

*This is an outlet for me to tell MY stories and obtain feedback as well as initiate discussions.  If my expression of knowledge learned from these experiences helps or entertains you, that is the goal, but understand, I will always be a student.  I am expanding my education for more inclusive terminology and information as well as learning new terms.  Let's learn together and please be patient. 🖤💖🖤
